STOCKING
THE CLOSET The Rape Crisis
Center of the YWCA of Santa Clara Valley will purchase new clothing,
underwear, socks and shoes to provide to victims of sexual assault.
GRIEF
THERAPY Donations will
help Pathways Hospice Foundation, Mountain View, provide materials
for counselors who use art therapy with their clients, and for respite
care.
ONE
FOOT FORWARD Seed money
for the Step Ahead Shoe Project through InnVision in San Jose will
make new shoes and shoe vouchers available to homeless children and
adults.
DAILY
VISIT For low-income
seniors, shut-ins and the disabled: thousands of hot meals and
bags of supplemental groceries. Agencies that will benefit:
Meals on Wheels programs in Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara
and Santa Cruz counties and Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa
Clara and San Mateo Counties.
REACHING
HIS DREAM Jose Taina,
a San Jose Convervation Corps charter school graduate: help with college
tuition, books and fees, an electronic speller/translator and gift
cards to purchase a set of professional auto mechanics' tools.
