PRIDE Young people
who participate in sports teams at the Levin Clubhouse operated
by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley: New, multi-purpose
uniforms for football, soccer, softball, baketball and volleyball.
REACHING
UP Tamika Williams,
18, a freshman at Mission College: Laptop computer, assistance
with purchasing school materials, gift cards for clothing and
other basics, movie rentals.
NEW
START Emma and her
daughters Jennifer, 14, and Carla, 12, who are in transitional
housing on the Peninsula after being homeless: Computer, tutorial
software, portable stereo, gift cards for clothing, bus pass,
fitness classes.
GOING
TO CAMP Donations will
provide scholarships to camps and summer educational experiences
for hundreds of Bay Area young people. Agencies that will benefit:
Environmental Volunteers, Palo Alto; Happy Hollow Park Corporation,
San Jose; Hidden Villa, Los Altos Hills; Kids to Camp, San Jose;
Peninsula Humane Society, San Mateo. |
